Pancakes

Makes about 5 medium pancakes

Ingredients

  • 1.25 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1.25 tsp. white sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 Tbsp. butter
  • Optional: blueberries, cinnamon, or other add-ins
  • Maple syrup for topping

Directions

  1. Combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt in a large bowl
  2. In a small bowl combine the milk and egg
  3. Stir the egg/milk into the dry ingredients until just combined
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat
  5. Grease the pan with butter
  6. Pour the batter onto the hot skillet (approximately 1/4 cup worth) Add blueberries or other toppings
  7. Cook until the sides are set and bubbles appear in the batter, then flip and cook until golden brown
  8. Enjoy!
