Granola Bars
Ingredients
- 1.75 cups old fashioned oats
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cups mix ins
- 1 cup almond butter or other nut butter
- 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine the oats, cinnamon, and salt
- Lightly chop the mix in if desired
- Add the mix ins into the oat mixture
- In a medium bowl, combine the almond butter, honey, and vanilla extract
- Stir the liquid ingredients into the dry ingredients
- Line a 9x9 square baking dish with parchment paper
- Pour the mixture into the pan
- Evenly spread out the mixture and press it down firmly. Use a short flat bottom glass to press the mixture together
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour
- Enjoy!
Mix ins: almonds, cashews, pecans, walnuts, pepitas, shredded coconut, dried fruit, etc.
Favorite mix in combo: 1/2 cup shredded coconut, pepitas, pecans, and cashews
