Freezer Cooked Pears

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • about 12 cups water
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 cups sugar

Directions

  1. Combine 12 cups of water with salt and apple cider vinegar
  2. Peel, core, and halve pears
  3. Place pears in the salt vinegar mix until ready to cook
  4. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil
  5. Add the sugar and stir until dissolved
  6. Add peeled halved pears to water
  7. Cook until translucent
  8. Remove from water with a slotted spoon
  9. Allow to cool
  10. Place into freezer bags and freeze
