Freezer Cooked Pears
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp salt
- 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- about 12 cups water
- 4 cups water
- 2 cups sugar
Directions
- Combine 12 cups of water with salt and apple cider vinegar
- Peel, core, and halve pears
- Place pears in the salt vinegar mix until ready to cook
- Bring 4 cups of water to a boil
- Add the sugar and stir until dissolved
- Add peeled halved pears to water
- Cook until translucent
- Remove from water with a slotted spoon
- Allow to cool
- Place into freezer bags and freeze
