Cranberry Sauce
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/3 cup water
- 12 oz fresh cranberries
- pinch of salt
- 1 cinnamon stick
- Zest of 1 orange
Directions
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat combine the sugar, orange juice, and water
- Add cranberries, salt, cinnamon stick, and orange zest
- Bring it to a simmer over medium heat, stirring frequently
- Simmer for about 10 minutes, or until most of the cranberries have popped
- Remove from the heat and let it cool
- Cover and refrigerate until ready to use
