Chocolate Chip Cookies
Makes 2ish dozen
Ingredients
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter softened
- 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2.25 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 package or so of semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350
- Beat together the butter and sugars until creamy
- Add the eggs and vanilla, beat well
- In a separate bowl combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix well
- Add the flour mixture to the butter egg mixture and combine well
- Fold in the chocolate chips
- Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown
- Cool 2 minutes on the cookie sheet before removing to a cooling rack
